IDA is a non-profit organization that exists to protect the night from light pollution and advocates for the night that benefits all living things. The design concept is inspired by the constellation system, which is a human-made system to define the stars and give them meaning. People learn about the universe from the constellation in the sky, and this connection is what IDA is preserving.
